We are a new style noodlebar based on popular asian street foods. Our style of cooking is simple, nutritious and bursting with exotic flavours from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, China & Japan. Food is cooked fast and fresh from our kitchen buzzing with flaming woks and wonderful aromas.
The restaurant has been in Sydney since 2001 (Manly store) and 2003 (DeeWhy store). Both opening were well received with many locals and tourist dining at each store which were usually fully-seated.
'Asian Street Foods' aka Hawker street foods is a style of asian cooking originating from the 'open-markets' of Asia selling delicious and inexpensive foods. Foods are cooked in public areas with many stalls specialising in certain specialty dishes. Seating is generally communal with stools and fold up tables. Hawker street foods can usually be found in open public places, near shopping areas or area frequented by many people.
Wockbar's friendly staff are on hand to help customers and to ensure they enjoy the Wockbar-experience. Whether is suggesting the right dish(es) to explaining what ingredients are in which dish(es), the staff and on hand to attend to your needs. There is even a Vegetarian and Celiac menu for customers with special dietary requirements.
